None of these Chargers of yesteryear are going to save the day for San Diego tonight against the Colts. Dan Fouts, Wes Chandler, Kellen Winslow, and Chuck Muncie are enjoying their post football playing days (or eternity in the case of Chuck Muncie) seemingly thinking what has happened to their old franchise. Their one time anointed one, Philip Rivers has more kids than touchdown passes and has been in about a three year funk. Everyone knows in today’s NFL you are only as good as your quarterback. Therefore, the Chargers are pretty much in rebuilding mode. The Colts may make it more difficult than it has to be but will find a way against the struggling Bolts. Andrew Luck is starting to his groove this year and Colts will exorcise demons and San Diego to cover the spread.

Prediction 31-17 Colts

The Colts will not have an opportunity to face long time certain ring of honor inductee and possible NFL hall of famer Dwight Freeney, as he suffered a season ending injury. Again, good call by Ryan Grigson. Unfortunately another long time Colt is facing the team next week. I doubt that former player will miss the game.
