So by now you that Michigan, Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisville is coming to town.  If you have ever been downtown during the NCAA or Big Ten tourney before you also know that each school finds a location downtown to set up so alumni and fans of that team can watch the game among their own fan base.  This weekend is no exception.

Here are what the four schools have planned.

Let’s start out with the team that was in town just two weeks ago.

The Michigan Wolverines

Sounds like fun.  Good drink and food and they have plenty of TVs to watch the game.

Next up we have the Tennessee Volunteers

The fan base still has not decided on a location as of yet but it looks like there are a few locations that are trying to get them to come and spend that  RockyTop money.  All the locations look about the same.  Places like Killroy’s and Scotty’s.  You know beer and burger places.  I really think they might be holding out for the place up north named after Peyton Manning.  Should we tell them it is a children’s hospital?

The Kentucky Wildcats

The UK Alumni Association is hosting a pep rally at the Tin Roof.  The event will have all the university flare.  The band and cheerleaders will be in attendance along with plenty of TVs to watch the games and the Tin Roof has promised not to run out of Makers Mark.

I think you are seeing a trend here.  Sports bar atmosphere with cold beer, plenty of screens to watch the games and more fried food than your heart can handle.  Good times.

Then we get to the other team.

The Louisville Cardinals

That is right.  The Louisville fan base will be up in da club.  While the other schools bring their bands and cheerleaders the Cards are bringing their DJ K-DOGG and BIG TIME TURTS.  What the hell is a yurts anyway?

Well I looked it up and this is what Wikipedia had on yurts.

A yurt is a portable, bent dwelling structure traditionally used by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia as their home. The structure comprises a crown or compression wheel, usually steam bent, supported by roof ribs which are bent down at the end where they meet the lattice wall (again, steam bent). The top of the wall is prevented from spreading by means of a tension band which opposes the force of the roof ribs. The structure is usually covered by layers of fabric and sheep’s wool felt for insulation and weatherproofing.

So how is again is hanging out with yurts fun?  Even if they are Big Time.

Anyway, I found a picture of Sensu.

All I can see here is approximately 1,000 Dbags and 0 TVs.  Have fun with the Sensu whores (I mean girls, I’m sure Daddy is proud).  I bet you can even get bottle service!  SMH.  I bet that place already has its own stripper pole.  No need to bring your own.

Mrs. BDS and I are going to go downtown Friday for all the festivities and to cheer on the Cats.  Something tells me we will be sticking to the bars and pubs and leaving Da Clubs to the peeps from The Ville.
